Ｉmmunization 予防接種は高いよ、の巻

無事、黄熱病の予防接種を済ませてきました！チリから出ない分には、何ら予防接種は義務付けられていないのですが、是非南米に滞在している間にアマゾンにも行ってみたいと願っているので生ワクチンを体に染み込ませてきました。
しかし8,530円とは高すぎないですか？でも、仕方の無い出費と諦めようとしていました。そう、あの時までは・・・。

〜再現します〜

その後、別の病院へ行き破傷風の注射日程の相談をしました（注射の種類によって接種できる病院は異なっています）。私が黄熱病のワクチンを既に接種済みだと伝えたところ、注射代金の話に。その病院の女医さんもワクチンの高さに真顔で驚いていました。
「5年程前までは2,000円ぐらいだったのにねえ」と言われた上に、ボソっと低い声で（儲けてるわねえ・・・）とつぶやきました。
私がそれを聞いて固まっているのに気が付くと、「聞こえちゃった？あはは、知らない方が良かったわね〜」。
ひ、人でなし〜！

By the FORTH (FOR Traveler's Health) , before I go to South America, I am highly recommended to get some immunizations against yellow fever(黄熱病）, hepatitis A (A型肝炎）and tetanus (破傷風).

I got vaccinated to prevent contracting diseases while traveling in Central America about 8 years ago, so some of the vaccines are active but still I need to get the booster inoculation (追加接種).

At that time, when I heard from the doctor that I also needed to get a shot for rabies (狂犬病), I laughed very hard at the hospital.
But the doctor immediately chided my improvidence. He said significantly higher rates of death are both from traffic accidents and rabies in Central America.

Yep, Japan's common knowledge is not the same in the world !
